Weekend Hours Saturday 8 am to 4 pm & Sunday 9 am to 4 pm 
Closed Monday and Thursday

New this year only two stickers will be issued for free to each household and

you must provide the license plate number of the vehicle it is going on.

The Transfer Station is now accepting Universal Waste  - From member towns only.
Please check with the on duty attendant when disposing of these items.
They may require some paperwork prior to disposing of.

Items included are: Televisions, Computer Monitors, CPU's, Desktop copiers and faxes, Keyboards, Printers and scanners, Stereo Equipment and Tablets. Fluorescent light bulbs, old rechargeable batteries and cell phones are accepted at the Transfer Station.

Paint - 

Please check with the attendant for new disposal rules or you can check out this website  for more information and options on disposal. If you have a small amount of paint left you can let the paint dry out and dispose of it with your household trash. 

The Transfer Station was built in 1990, in 2010 the Towns of Baldwin, Hiram and Porter decided to purchase the station and run it themselves in hopes to save money and operate more efficiently. The Tri Town Board consist of the Selectmen from each of the member towns. Meetings are held the third Monday of the month at the Hiram Town Office  beginning at 7pm, meetings are open to the public. Much has changed in the past few years with our recycling abilities, it pays to recycle.

For the past three years the Board of Directors for the Tri- Town Transfer Station have asked the TV-2 classes at Sacopee Valley High School to participate in the production of a public service announcement contest to help increase recycling at the station.
